Re: Some problems, applying Bass and Treble.
In addition, there is another disadvantage. The window isn't closing, and it is sometimes unclear after pressing "apply" whether the effect has been applied or not, especially if the file is short, the moment of applying is quickly flashing. In the ofher effects, the window is closing and...

Re: Crashing recording software
What is the make and model number of the USB mic? As an experiment, do the problems with audio applications go away if you disconnect that mic? However EAP is to do with wireless networking: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extensible_Authentication_Protocol . Especially if other than audio application...

Re: Recording duration shorter than the original [SOLVED]
On my MD-covers, due to the limited place, I only wrote the Artists ‘names. The best way I found is to use Soundhound, then manually introduce the names of the artists and the tracks before exporting them to the external hard drive, and finally use “the update metadata and cover art” function in Wi...

Re: Issue with recording using system build-in mic
What version of Audacity? See the pink panel at the top of the page. Do you mean that you're connecting to the stereo line input of the Mac? You should not be recording music from the built-in microphone on a Mac laptop. Try reducing "Audio to buffer" in Audacity's Recording Preferences. T...

I assume you are not professionally involved in education so I moved your post to the Windows board.

Re: WEbcam Mic Supercedes my good one
On skype I'm using the Komplete 6 audio interface with my condenser mic. That's all good. But my plan was to run audacity in tandem and use the same mic at the same time. I managed to do it, but I have to unplug my webcam. What version of Audacity are you using? See Help > About Audacity... . Were ...

Re: Crashing recording software
The Windows Event Viewer or Reliability History (type those phrases into the Start Menu) may just possibly have more information. It sounds like it could be a problem with the audio devices you are using. Are you using the built-in sound device or an external audio interface? The drivers that your d...

Re: Audacity records my gameplay
Thanks, it's always appreciated for you to post what fixed it for you. So, when you moved the green plug of your headset for receiving sound to the back output of the computer, did you have to enable the back output in Windows Sound and change the playback device in Windows Sound to that? Your Audio...

Re: Fadeout command in edit chains
Chains applied to files cannot specify the selection. Do you want to vote for that improvement? I know of http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=267196#p267196 which fades in a given selection length at the start and fades out the same selection length at the end by the same amount. Perhaps S...
