Re: Submit your EQ Curves

steve wrote:I'm in favour of it going onto the wiki now, but when Audacity 1.3.13 is released I think it should be updated to take full advantage of the recent improvements and bug fixes in Audacity.
Can you make a list here of what those updates should be?

Re: Lost keyboard focus after import (Ubuntu) [patch]

Ed, Thanks for looking at it. I did try your patch on Ubuntu. Certainly you can File > Import > Audio and File > Open then Space to play, but it doesn't do anything for the case where you drag a file in and the focus does not get returned to Audacity at all. And by definition it doesn't restore the ...

Re: Submit your EQ Curves

Prefix the Audacity ./configure command with a command to set the WX_CONFIG environment variable to point to your copy of wxGTK. Wiki updated.

Re: Crackling voice recording

I don't know why this is happening lately but every time I record now. There's some odd crackling noise throughout my voice. It's not that my audio is too loud or anything. However, it's not exactly a crackling either as to think the headset it broke, because this happens on and off. It almost make...

Re: FFmpeg library not found

Leland has been working on this and 1.3.13 Beta when released in the near future should have fewer problems detecting the Audacity version of FFmpeg. The main problem was that OS X searches DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH first, which would very likely have been populated with system versions of FFmpeg. This woul...

Re: Lame 3.98.4 Incompatible with Audacity 1.3.8?

Re: Installing Lame ... again

Leland is working on lame_enc.dll detection issues now. I've attached a 3.98.4 version that he's built which he thinks may help. Please use/offer this one if there is a problem with the earlier .dll's.

Re: Occasional Crash

Have you enabled Audio Cache in the Directories Preferences? This will use computer memory for your edits as well as writing them to disk. Memory only would have been used for your recording, but it's possible all the memory may not be freed up when the recording is finished. If you run short of mem...
