Probably the first thing to do is make sure you are using SoundBlaster for the Audacity playback device (Edit > Preferences: Audio I/O), not the inbuilt sound device.

I guess that we could eventually end up lots of different vocoder effects. I still would like to have a "unified" vocoder effect, but I'm afraid that this is again a lot of work. Thanks, Edgar for the explications. The fundamental problem remains IMO that many can't use the current vocode...

Yes, you're right Gale, does are downloaders. But in this case isn't the end result pretty much the same? mpeg streamclip gives the option to save to different formats. I'm not sure about the others... When you use a "download YouTube videos" tool there are usually options to save in diff...
