Re: Delay typing into a label or dragging tracks vertically
I've added Bug 406 . Peter has remarked to me by e-mail that: Sometimes it does funny things with the waveform display by showing a section that it is not currently playing or labelling. This isn't (I believe) new to 1.3.13. If you don't close the previous label, then you when you CTRL + M to add th...

Re: Mono setting crashes!
I am using Audacity 1.3.12 beta. It has worked fine but recently I had a virus and had to wipe the hard disk and start over. Audacity still works fine, but if I go into preferences and set it for mono (1 channel) recording, the computer crashes if I try to record! It works fine when set to stereo (...

Re: Loss of bitrate quality when exporting multiple
Hi everybody. I tried import a song, split it into multiple files, then export the files to a folder on my desktop. I did this and saw that the audio quality was at 128 kb/s. I then tried a song that I knew was 192 kb/s, imported it, cut it into pieces, and saw that it too imported at 128 kb/s at d...

Re: Local Help Manual
Audacity just looks for helpmanualindex.html (slashes according to operating platform) relative to the directory the application is in. To both of you: Are you running Windows in English or some other language? Are you clicking in the menu item, using ALT + M, or using a shortcut? What exactly happe...

Re: Can't Install Audacity 1.3.13
All I see is: "msvcp90.dll" SIZE="572928" CHECKSUM="0xC4D964BD" BIN_FILE_VERSION="9.0.30729.1" "msvcr90.dll" SIZE="655872" CHECKSUM="0xA8551049" BIN_FILE_VERSION="9.0.30729.1" is this correct for this install? Yes the f...

Re: Multitrack recording with ZOOM R16
While listening to the click/harpsichord track via earphones I record my violin play with H2. This process locks the click/harpsichord track and my violin play physically. Unfortunately the produced wav files of the click/harpsichord track and my violin play are independent from each other. We can'...

Re: Missing recordings
I ran in to a problem with a ca. 1 hour stereo recording (96 kHz 32 bit floting). The recording is missing, the apf file is stamped at the right time but the audio is gone. When I go into the coresponding data folder, it is also stamped at the right time. The e00 folder is also stamped at the right...

If you want to record at 88200 Hz, click in the Project Rate box and type in 88200, or set it as Default Sample Rate in the Quality Preferences.the-real-mandak wrote: Why issn't there a 88.2 kHz option in the Audacity recording option

@Tingo, I'll pass on your address to the OSS user. There will be more interest in a "bug report" if other OSS users can confirm your finding that software playthrough does not work for USB devices. Very few people use OSS now, so there are almost no reports about it.

Re: Fine 'Change Speed' Effect?
Could you add my vote while you're there Bill. I'm forever forgetting which has to be divided by what and it should be really easy for the effect to calculate it. Done (and I added three other stored votes I had from others too): http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Feature_Requests#Other_Improvements...
