Also are you using Audacity 1.2 or 1.3? You posted this identical message to the 1.2 Forum, which message I had not seen before but which I have now deleted. In case you are actually using 1.2, you need to upgrade to 1.3 to use Timer Record.

As I understand the symptoms, the most common scenario is that there is a recording glitch - you can see it if you zoom into the waveform, hence it is always in the same place when you play it. I would say the autosave file has become corrupted. Did you edit it?

It depends how corrupted it is. Please attach the autosave file using "Upload attachment" underneath the message "Preview/Submit" buttons.
