Re: Joint Stereo setting
Moved to 1.3 Windows Forum How do I achieve "Joint Stereo"? After clicking File > Export and selecting "MP3 Files" in the dropdown menu, click the "Options" button which brings you here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/m/images/b/b5/MP3ExportOptions.png Simply click the...

Re: Problems recording a second track (multi-tracking)
I've got questions. Apologies if I am not familiar with guitar recording, I do connect direct. No microphone, I run a line from my amp’s headphone output to my computer’s microphone input (worked for years with Win XP and Audacity 1.2.6). Even if not the cause, It's still not recommended to record f...

Re: clicktrack2.ny
I've attached a revised version, renamed as clicktrack2.ny. The changes have turned out to be somewhat more extensive than I originally intended so it would be helpful if it could be tested by as many people as possible - particularly the error checking aspects. This effect will be listed as "...

Re: "comment" does't post to Properties when mp3 file is sav
So I'm figuring the only answer is to specify "ENG" for English, which every other application I tried does. I'll try and find out if this creates any problems with reading non-Latin characters where the operating system isn't actually running in English. Here is an unofficial build that ...

Re: Intermittent Recording Dropouts with Tascam US 122
Bob, I don't think we discussed it before, correct me if we did. What driver version do you have for Tascam - is it latest 3.40?

Re: Timer
@Gale: I note your point about Bug 104 http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104 relating to the ability to minimize the Timer record Window. But it only covers part of it. It does not cover the ability to use the window minimize button to send it to the task tray. Do we (i.e. you) there...

Re: Intermittent Recording Dropouts with Tascam US 122
Thanks, Bob.
I don't know anyone on the Tascam Forum, but I do think you should also discuss with them as well.
If you click "About" in that CPU window you showed, I think there should be a button to save a text report. That would give Ed all the details CPU-Z has.

Re: Recording with Multiple USB Mics
I find it difficult to follow you - perhaps I shouldn't try. :? DId you actually aggregate the two UCA 202's in Audio MIDI Setup? I thought they were then supposed to show up as a single "Aggy" input? Audacity wins. I'm listening to the country and western music CD I have playing into USB#...

Re: Intermittent Recording Dropouts with Tascam US 122
Yes, but what output device is selected in Device Toolbar - is it the Tascam or built-in audio. Whichever it is, have you always used that output device? The Tascam has always been the output device of choice. I think you should consider using the inbuilt sound device for a while, at least for the ...
