Re: Graphic EQ sliders
On Mac, clicking above or below a graphic EQ slider jumps the slider to the pointer position. Also, the tool tip does not update to the new slider value. Thanks, Bill, Does it jump to the actual pointer position, or only to the nearest 4 dB increment as on Windows XP? I appreciate you need to see t...

Re: Launching Audacity by opening a file doesn't import the

Are you actually logged into these sites? Are they 128 kbps 44100 Hz Constant Bit Rate MP3's? Have you added metadata? Is it a dial up modem? Or USB broadband modem? Have you tried another browser? Which browser are you using now? Whatever the reason for the failure you should report the freeze to t...

Re: Intermittent Recording Dropouts with Tascam US 122
Do you have any special parameters for the new computer? I will, as usual turn off all unnecessary processes. Do you want both imported music and recorded voice through the Tascam? To being with I suggest you use 1.3.14 on the different computer. Don't change blocksize or audio to buffer. Use Tasca...

Intel MacMini OS-X 10.6.8 Audacity 1.3.13. Built-In Input and Built-In Output. The Music CD makes the System Preferences meter jump and Audacity monitoring mode works. Audacity and Mac volume controls track each other and both work. The "headphone" output connected to the external sound s...

Re: Launching Audacity by opening a file doesn't import the
@Todd Do you get the Compressed File warning just after Audacity opens? Do you get the warning when it fails? "When importing uncompressed audio files....." If I Close the import message without authorizing it, I get the same conditions you do. Audacity launches without the work. Yes and ...
