The file plays OK for me in the small player window in Media Player 12.0.14393.447 on Windows 10 Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.447) - in other words an up to date Windows 10 Anniversary Update. I can exit Media Player normally afer adjusting the file's EQ in the player.

Re: Audacity won't launch. Help.
I have no reason to suspect my audio driver since audio is otherwise working properly. I wish I could see what was causing the conflict. :( Right now, my "work-around" is to run Audacity from a VM ("Windows 10" using "VM Player"). Technically, Audacity is still running...

Re: My Plug-in isn't showing up
If there is no equivalent LADSPA or LV2 plugin that is suitable you can try installing Wine then run the Windows version of Audacity.

Re: Ways to fix Sound export recording In Audacity
It sounds like a known Apple bug. You may need to export to the "Automatically add to iTunes" folder. See http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 46#p308846 .

Re: Audacity won't launch. Help.
Codec packs generally are a bad idea unless they let you install only the codecs you need. See http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#launch . Other reasons for non-launch of Audacity are audio drivers (which sounds likely from your description) or security application...

Re: Is there the multi-select?
You don't need multiple selections to do that. Try for example Limiter on the entire selection.jarod99 wrote:a lot of kicks that I want to de-amplify, how can I do it quickly?

Re: Problem about Recording calls in window 7
This post was in response to a now banned user who was posting questions copied from other users Assuming these are VoIP calls like Skype then you won't easily be able to correct the volume imbalance and also both parties to the call will be mixed together instead of in separate channels. Use a rec...

Re: playback volume
You are recording, not importing. Choose the correct recording device (EZCap) in Device Toolbar. Then try turning up the level of the recording slider in Mixer Toolbar:

Re: Hide track graphs when chains is applying
Is there a way to stop track redrawing or to hide track graphs at all when chains is applying to multiple files? Those redrawings often take major amount of time in case of big files and long chains. Not in Audacity. What you are requesting amounts to running Audacity as a command-line application ...

Re: Multiple tracks
When importing several tracks into a project, the metadata (as displayed by Edit Metadata) of all the tracks are set to those of the last track Yes, this limitation is mentioned in our Manual: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/metadata_editor.html . What I'd like to achieve is just to import some ...
