Re: Troubles with multitrack recording
Any suggestions for other free multi-track recording programs to try, to see if they have the same problem? Thanks for testing out possibilities. You could try Kristal or Quartz Audio Master (4 tracks in free version). Kristal supports ASIO low latency drivers which may or may not help; Audacity do...

Re: Anyone else have this issue?
Can you post anything without the imported songs? Where did you get the imported song and is it protected? Where did you try to post it? Koz Yep. I've posted with and without imported songs. I'm getting the songs from a CD. Protected or not, I don't know. I guess so, maybe? But I have got a couple ...

Re: Help Please
There is no audio visible in the meters to right of "Stereo Mix" and "Speakers".
Right-click over the "Stereo Mix" > Properties, click "Levels" and turn the slider up. Do the same for "Speakers". Make sure neither is muted.

1. Render (export) your mix as 32-bit WAV.* 2. Open (import) the mixed WAV file and use the Amplify effect to set the New Peak Amplitude to 0dB (or slightly below 0dB). 3. Now, after adjusting the levels, render again to your final MP3 format. I agree that the most likely cause is that although the...

Re: Audacity 1.3.13 crashes on startup, after scanning VSTs
The crash report indicates that the Waves Audio Unit plug-ins are crashing. Rename the attached "audacity.txt" to audacity.cfg. Go > Go To Folder and open ~/Library/Application Support/audacity. Paste audacity.cfg in there. Overwrite the old copy of there is one. Audacity will now launch w...

Please show us images of the "Playback" and "Recording" tabs of "Sound" in the Windows Control Panel. You can use "Upload attachment" underneath the message "Preview/Submit" buttons to do that. If you can't hear the audio, stereo mix won't record it....

Re: FC14 Recording Issues Audacity 1.3.13 under Gnome
I don't use audio much on Linux so these are only obvious comments. The fact that your USB card is device #0 is odd but presumably explained here: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:U5icyzqfVNkJ:www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/showdev.php%3Fid%3D384+&cd=3&hl=en The UA-30 automatica...
