Re: Audacity 1.3.13 crashes opening .aiff files
Instead of double-clicking on a music file which leaves the 'open' process up to the Mac, Control-Click > Open With > Audacity. See if maybe the Mac thinks there are multiple Audacity instances available. I was reading it that PSuter was already using File > Open or File > Import > Audio in Audacit...

Re: Building a plug-in DLL using VS 2010 Express

Does anybody know if VS2010 DLLs have general compatibility problems with VC++ 2008 applications? From what I ...

Re: No Sound in Audacity
The Turntable is connected to the mixer It should not be connected direct to the mixer unless the mixer has a phono input. and the mixer is usb to the pc i figured that would be no problem since i am already hearing the record playing, Where are you hearing the record playing now? Where do you want...

Re: Troubles with multitrack recording
Glad you found the answer. Is this a single core machine? It would be interesting to know (if you want to bother) if the inbuilt sound card displays the same behaviour with hyperthreading on, and if adjusting "audio to buffer" in Audacity's Recording Preferences helped when using Tascam. I...

Re: Audacity Crash, lost hours of work
Hi Gary, Thanks for the replies. The developers have been made aware of what happened. Did you try opening the last saved copy of the .aup file? I don't expect it to produce much but it might be able to find more audio than you have now. As you had other additional Audacity project windows open at t...
