Re: Single channel choice crashes! Help!

You may need to fix some driver that SB Live! is trying to interact with. If you have reinstalled XP it is very likely NOT in the state it was in when the SB Liv...

Re: 37min seems a little short
Audacity should use a maximum of 1.2 GB per hour of audio to record (32-bit float stereo).

Re: Program only records audio and not voice
I'm trying to record my voice over audio. This worked the first few days I had the program simply by importing the audio, then plugging in my mic and hitting the record button. Re: Startup Options for Audacity
Do you mean store the position they would like to play from - listen to 10 minutes, close the file, reopen it and it starts from 10 minutes? iTunes can do that (right-click over the file > Get Info, choose the "Options" tab and put a check in "Remember playback position"). That t...

Re: No simple save command?
1 Import 2 Edit 3 Export only works as simply as that in Audacity if you happen to import from the same folder you last exported to, otherwise you have to stop and navigate to the correct export directory. Probably we want (at least) a preference to export to the last directory an audio file was imp...

Re: Odd behaviours on joining and splitting stereo tracks
With regard to Pan and Gain: One way that Audacity could "do the right thing" and make transparent what it is doing would be to replace the pan slider on stereo tracks with a second gain slider so that there is one gain slider per channel. I "almost" posted a suggestion to have ...

As an alternative to that, the direct links in the post above are now working. Thanks for your help, Buanzo.buanzo wrote:Instead of direct links, try visiting http://lame1.buanzo.com.ar - Scroll down a bit, you will see a white box with all the different ffmpeg and lame downloads.
