Re: Single channel choice crashes! Help!

Once again, if the computer is crashing there will be information in the memory dump. I suggest you look at it if you haven't done so yet. You may need to fix some driver that SB Live! is trying to interact with. If you have reinstalled XP it is very likely NOT in the state it was in when the SB Liv...

Re: 37min seems a little short

Audacity should use a maximum of 1.2 GB per hour of audio to record (32-bit float stereo).

See:

Re: Program only records audio and not voice

I'm trying to record my voice over audio. This worked the first few days I had the program simply by importing the audio, then plugging in my mic and hitting the record button. Re: Startup Options for Audacity

Re: No simple save command?

Re: Odd behaviours on joining and splitting stereo tracks

With regard to Pan and Gain: One way that Audacity could "do the right thing" and make transparent what it is doing would be to replace the pan slider on stereo tracks with a second gain slider so that there is one gain slider per channel. I "almost" posted a suggestion to have ...

As an alternative to that, the direct links in the post above are now working. Thanks for your help, Buanzo.
