Re: Input Volume Control
I upgraded to 1.3.13 and still had the same problem. The difference in 1.3.13 is the input slider doesn't work and your supposed to adjust the input volume through Lion. However nothing seems to change the input levels, and the MIDI control panel won't even let me change some of the levels. It's st...

This is the third report I have seen like this in two days (one of the others had a flatlined track when he pressed Skip to Start after hav...

Re: Sped up MP3's?
Thanks for the quick reply Gale-- I matched up the rates like you said, both 44100 HZ, and then hit Quick Mix, but the track was still too fast after pasting. Only certain MP3's have this problem, the rest match up fine. Hi, Are the certain MP3's ones that lead to the track rates being different? I...

Re: Edit features not working [SOLVED]
Monica also wrote to [email protected] about it. She had enabled Snap To (seconds) and was zoomed in so she could only see less than a second of track. As a result, no selection is possible. "Snap To" can be turned on and off in Selection Toolbar bottom left of the Audacity window: http://manual.a...

Re: Not able to down load help manual

Re: Audacity 1.3.13 Beta - Default Possible?
It sounds as if you enabled Multi-Tool by pressing F6. If you exit Audacity with Multi-Tool enabled, it will launch again with it enabled. If it happens, just press F1 to get Selection Tool back again. Default settings can be got back to by exiting Audacity and editing audacity.cfg down to NewPrefsI...

Re: Midi Cables
MIDI is not audio. Audacity is an audio recorder and editor, it does not record or edit MIDI. To be 100% accurate, 1.3 Beta can import a MIDI or GRO file, cut-and-paste edit it, then export it, but there is no MIDI playback yet, nor can you convert between MIDI and audio. http://wiki.audacityteam.o...

Re: Sped up MP3's?
I have Vista 6.0 Home Premium and Audacity 1.2.6. Some of the Mp3's I import to add to my recording project get their speed changed when i paste them into the project track. Like going from 33i/3 to 78 rpm. They sound fine in the new track they were imported into, but as soon as I paste them, they ...
