The tool in Audacity is the Repair effect - it will fix up to 128 selected samples by interpolating from the neighbouring waveforms - see: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Repair Just to clarify, Repair is only in Audacity Beta. If the issue is a real pain you could backup your files and reinstall Windows. Just pop the Win 7 DVD in and follow the steps to repair the existing installation.
