Re: Conflit entre Audacity et FL Studio

You cannot use Fruity Loops instrument plug-ins in Audacity. 1.3.14 should ignore these plug-ins. If it doesn't, please attach Audacity's plugins.cfg file to see if we can understand the problem. You can find plugins.cfg at Users<your user name>AppDataRoamingAudacity . To see that folder you may hav...

Re: temporaly files

See http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Crash_Recovery .

Note that Audacity 1.2.x may crash on Windows Vista, 7 and recent versions of OS X. On those operating systems, use 1.3.14 instead:

Re: Stereo recording does not work

By the system clock, right-click over the Speaker icon > Recording Devices then right-click over USB Audio Codec > "Properties". On the "Advanced" tab, in the "Default Format" section, make sure the drop-down menu is set to a "2 channel" choice, same rate as t...

Re: Spitfish De-esser

I take it you looked at the included PDF manual for "Fish_Fillets" ? You can also try Audacity's Effect > Equalization to reduce the volume of the offending frequencies, but you definitely want to only apply that to the individual notes that are worst affected. Have a look at Analyze > Plo...

Re: Recording from Speaker Output

if I have to rename the file, I don't need the other application <smile>. You may not, but others might want internet lookup if they want other tags like genre and year. It's a little quicker than Googling for each song. ;) And if the site you are recording from provides metadata, then a program th...

Re: Sound Finder / Silence Finder improvements

Is there a reason you abandoned this as a viable part of Audacity? Or is there a reason why this is not readily available as a plug-in currently? Interestingly, the start of that topic (Nov 02, 2009) predates the inclusion of SoundFinder in Audacity (29 Dec 2009 http://code.google.com/p/audacity/so...

Re: Recording from Speaker Output

Would mp3tag, etal, not have to have more info also? What I mean is, am I still gonna have to assign the title/name of the song? That's what I'm trying to avoid :) . Looks like I would have to START OVER, no? Yes of course. You can find (paid for) programs that record streams and capture the metada...

Re: 78rpm EQ Curve Generator

I don't have a Mac to test this on. Neither do I, but although "/" is the file separator on Mac it is translated internally by the OS so should be accepted. You can save a filename including forward slash in Save or Export in Audacity (not export multiple). Why do you have (string-search ...
