You can't fix the glitch. How is it being recorded (makes and model numbers of equipment are good).

Re: audacity and behringer guitar link
That's hardware by the sound of it. You can't apply effects from anything attached to the phones port of the Guitar Link.bope1900 wrote:plexi combo amp.
Apply the effects using the included Guitar Combo software, if you want to use the GuitarLink. Or use Tracktion to record.

Re: Most numbers won't show up
Where did 2.1.2 come from? How did you install it? I don't see anything on the Ubuntu bug tracker https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/?fiel ... t=audacity about this, so perhaps it is specific to your computer.
Have you installed open source graphics drivers? These can cause issues.

Re: how to adjust the recording levels
If this has only just happened, check your stylus and headshell alignment.
Also note you can correct channel imbalance with Effect > Normalize... making sure "Normalize stereo channels independently" is checked (ticked).

Re: audacity and behringer guitar link
It would help if you said exactly how you are trying to apply effects between the Guitar Link and Audacity.
If you apply some effect in Audacity after recording without effects, you can see and hear the results at once.
What effects do you want? Distortion?

Re: Nyquist effects missing
Plugins are located in correct paths, both in user libs, sys libs and in the Audacity application folder, under applications/audcatiy/plug-ins and also in applications/audacity/nyquist. None of those are the correct place to put Nyquist plugins, except for /Applications/Audacity/Plug-ins, assuming ...

Re: Audacity Recording Audio Out When I'm Wearing Headphones
Where exactly is the microphone? If the microphone is in the headset, some of these have settings in a control panel to record playback as well as mic. If you have multiple audio outputs on your computer, try another output port to plug the headphones/headset into. On some computers this makes a dif...

Re: Nothing records (flat line) in Audacity
Your settings look correct. Make sure the Audacity recording level is turned up (it "should" be the same as that you chose in Windows Sound). Set project rate to 44100 Hz. You may want to check the cable you are using. If you use your favourite search engine and look up your phone or phone...

Re: Playback is too fast with m-audio fast track pro
Make sure you are using explicitly Audacity 2.1.2 from http://www.audacityteam.org/download/mac . The "latest version" on other sites may not be 2.1.2. The sample rate in Audacity project rate should be a rate supported by the device. Do not exceed the maximum sample rate specified in the ...
