Yes, it works fine with 2.0. I've been using and recommending 1.2.6 with Audacity 1.3.x beta for a while. Some users who need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable to run Audacity are already on SP3, so there should not be any major conflict between the two.
