Re: Can't load Module

Is this what you have
http://www.kvraudio.com/product/296 ?

Audacity should ignore it I would think. Do you have it installed correctly?

Re: Silence required at beginning and end of track

Generate > Silence. Click in the track where you want to insert the silence. Alternatively, you can press K on the keyboard to place the cursor at the end of the track.

Re: Playback is always sped up

Sound quality is fine, only the pitch is higher because the speed is slightly higher. I've been messing around with the Project Rate...the default was at 44100 (Hz), but then the problem seems to get fixed at any other rates...do you know what the problem could've been? Thanks! Sample rates must ma...

Re: Sliding Time/Scale Pitch result sounds strange

Unfortunately the committed quality improvements have changed lib-srcsbsmssrcbuffer.cpp substantially.

Clayton will have to provide a new patch for the 64-bit issue.

Re: Very slow connecting to website

Thanks for the further details, Peter. Most ISP's give you a dynamic rather than static IP address, but knowing the IP address at the time of the problem helps Buanzo identify issues. Buanzo is away at the moment. Whether you log in automatically or not is determined by whether you choose "log ...

Re: Sound corruption in the latest build with ASIO

You may be starting to run up against this bug: http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=416 1 hour 4 minutes stereo at 96 kHz is about 750 million samples If you process that file, for example if you normalize it, the number of samples in the project will double as Audacity copies the data...

Re: Sony Vaio and Audactity

SoundLeech looks as if it doesn't have any explicit limitations. It can capture independently from different devices at the same time (for example, two different streams in different browsers) but only offers CD quality WAV (no MP3). After I muted a YouTube video then started recording with SoundLee...

Re: Timestamp of exported (from selection) wav file

One small improvement to Audacity could make this easier: In Export Multiple, add another option to name files by Prefix before Label/Track Name - I could see that being useful in other situations, too. Agree. Vote on that too :D OK. Program for manually altering timestamp (Windows) I've done some ...

Re: Very slow connecting to website

It was incredibly slow to connect to the Home page this morning at c.06:30-07:00 GMT+1. Is this timeslot a regular scheduled maintenance slot that I should avoid? Is there a published schedule for the planned downtime on the server(s)? The slowness was only in connecting to the Home page. Once in t...
