Re: Sound Finder / Silence Finder improvements

Allow gaps in sound up to: ..... seconds That looks much better providing it does that - within the margin of error, a gap at the stated value is "allowed". Disregard isolated sounds less than I don't think users will see the distinction between disregard and ignore. "Ignore" is...

Re: Recording stopping after first export V2 XP

Ok, i will edit the config file, but i dont beleive the disk spce is the issue, the deisk space on both laptops was more than the 20MB as suggested. The disk space required is 20 MB per minute for stereo 32-bit float, so an hour of audio is 1.2 GB. Edit the whole track (for example, amplify it) the...

Re: Contrast Analysis not Working

It's also unfortunate that for most of the examples WCAG actually show a selection in a stereo pair, which now won't work and which scenario wasn't considered by them. So it appears that they were working on the assumption that stereo tracks are fairly similar in both channels? Maybe, I don't think...

Re: Audacity Already Running

Got totally confused so once again deleted Audacity and reinstalled it (5th.time!). I did change Audacity .cfg (found in User/Brian/AppData/Roaming/audacity) to the settings as per your attachment. There are four VST Plugins in C/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Premier Elements 4.0. I have not added any ...

Re: Commencement time of recording

SMPTE is a sound signal and can be recorded on an "extra" track of a theatrical recording. This is Audacity 2.0 on a Mac plugged right into the back of an analog broadcast tape machine. Should I play back this track into any SMPTE reader, it will wake up and display the time. You've had a...

Re: Recording with a non-USB microphone

cheapie $10 Labtec mic I could plug in to the Mic outlet A mic is normally plugged into an "input". Do you have to switch port that between audio in and out? Upgraded to an Acer computer with Windows 7 (I can stream video at the rate of actual film now!). Got Audacity 2.0. It's having a [...

Re: Can't import MP3's

This should now be fixed in our development code, so should be fixed in the next 2.0.1 release.

Can you please test in our latest 2.0.1 alpha Nightly Build at the top of this list:

Thanks,

Re: AnwidaSoft DX Reverb Light settings

I've been doing some experimenting with the free version presets. So far, I've found that "05 medium room dark" and "06 medium room warm" sound the best, at least to my ear. I usually dial down the value to about the 10 '0 clock position. I'm trying this with concert band playba...
