Re: Exporting music to CD burning softward
I have already downloaded all instructions etc. It still doesn't tell me how to actually export the file. I have gone into export, save as and saved to my music (windows media player) but the WAV file is not appearing. I need more advice before I send the whole unit back for a refund. The written I...

I tried as an experiment, Exporting something as 32 bit to my Desktop, but when I looked at the Properties, I didnt see 32 bit, I did see 16-bit though. How can I save something as 32 bit and be sure? I saved it as "Other Uncompressed Files," but did not see any Options box I was told of ...

That creates and downloads th...

Re: Error on sliding time scale/pitch shift
@mdubin, Clayton has posted a patch in the bug report http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=557, so would you be able to test using your usual Sliding Time Scale workflows? To test, download http://www.gaclrecords.org.uk/bugs/audacity_bug_557.zip, unzip the enclosed "audacity_bug_557...

Thanks, Steve. We take crashes seriously, and as far as I can tell it has been fixed now in the source code, so will be fixed in the next 2.0.2 release.steve wrote:I'll pass on the information so that it can be fixed.

Yes OK Duncan, thanks, I added that and also that Edit > Undo and Edit > Redo seems to be another workaround.Duncan wrote:Hi Gale. Do you think the Bugzilla repro should mention the new keys z [ ] that don't work either? Do you mind if I leave that up to you?

Re: Export WAV in chain changes bit rate
Possibly Andy means that the files exported by the Chain are twice the required size and bit rate because they are 16-bit. Andy, you would be able to batch convert much easier using dBPowerAmp ( http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm ) - it's free if you don't encode MP3's. If you still want the Audacity...

Suppose i have two different windows open, each with a stereo wave files loaded. If i do a spectrum analysis on file 1, nothing indicates in the title bar of the spectrum analysis from which file it is. Basically, just adding the file name in the title bar of the spectrum analysis would be fantasti...
