It's at Effect > Equalization half way down the Effect Menu:

Re: Determine noise per hour

After making a recording of some parrots, I want to determine how often they make a sound. I need something that determines the start and end of a sound and count that as one. Then is just a matter of exporting the time of that sound. With that I could easily plot the data in excel. Any ideas? Anyo...

Re: A problem with microphone recording

I don't use Fraps, but I don't understand from your description why you would have it set to record the mic (or why it doesn't do so when you tell it to).

Maybe also you should mute the rear output device when your headset is plugged in?

Re: How to select a sliced bit of audio for deletion

I want to delete a piece of audio that I just sliced while keeping the other segments in the same place (Audacity calls this a split cut per manual). I can't figure this out. The instructions on the internet are awful. They show pictures of slices of audio for cutting or deleting but not HOW to sel...

Re: LAME 3.99.4

If you have installed a "lame" binary then you can always encode with it (with whatever limitations and features it has) by exporting using (external program) and including the path to the binary in your encoding command.

Re: how to sync lock only selected tracks

I'm sorry if you found the Sync-Lock page confusing but you are the first two people who made this comment AFAIK (a few other people understand the Manual but think the Sync-Lock feature should behave in other ways than it does). I added a note to consider tweaking the text (the Manual is frozen for...

Re: Error on sliding time scale/pitch shift

Clayton has made a completely fresh patch which on a cursory test on my Win 32-bit systems doesn't crash and doesn't have sound quality issues. That build is "audacity_bug_557p3.exe" in http://gaclrecords.org.uk/bugs/audacity_bug_557_12aug12.zip . I also included in that zip "audacity...
