Re: Importing project and data files from an older version
I am having trouble importing the project files from an older computer running audacity v1.2.6 to a computer running 2.0.0. It says that the majority of the .au data files are orphan files, and not used in the project (even though they should be) and therefore leaving 10+ tracks blank, and several ...

Re: error mssage when trying to record windows 7
It may be all you need to do is set the project rate bottom left of the Audacity window to 44100 Hz, or unplug and plug back the cable, then choose Transport > Rescan Audio Devices in Audacity and select the USB microphone in the input section of Audacity's Device Toolbar. Re: "FFmpeg_v0.6.2_for_Audacity_on_Windows.exe"
I downloaded FFmpeg zip file. I am not sure which option to use to unzip: 1. Extract Files ... 2. Extract Here ... 3. Extract to aud-w-2.0.1 Will Audacity know where to look? Since you chose the "harder" zip option, you usually have to use Preferences to tell Audacity where FFmpeg is. But...

Re: Using JACK and latency correction, correct setting
I suggest setting "Latency correction" in Audacity to whatever value leaves your tracks synchronised after doing a Latency Test .

If you did not close the project, try Edit > Undo.

These are not issues known to me ( see http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Linux_Issues#JACK ) .
Does your Creative Card that works properly exhibit these issues?
