Re: Importing Error
Audacity should import QCP if you add the optional FFmpeg library to your computer. Audacity can't write QCP files but the Ringtones Tutorial in the Audacity Manual lists a free conversion tool for converting from 8000 Hz 16-bit mono WAV to QCP and vice-versa. Re: Muted/Soloed track plays in Audacity but is not in MP3
Either do not press Solo and Mute on the same track, or use "Simple" or "None" Solo button mode (you need the latter if you want to hear more than one track soloed). This just highlights how much confusion there is about this, even for "expert" Audacity users :D If &qu...

Re: Audacity Crash On Launch - Mountain Lion
If you never successfully quit Audacity, there would be no audacity.cfg file because it was written on exit. However from 2.0.2 onwards Audacity will (try to) write a .cfg file at launch. Did new plug-ins come with the system or you have added new plug-ins? Some of these may be incompatible with Aud...

Make sure Windows is playing to the computer, not to the USB turntable:jmrjmrjmr wrote:Now it plays very nicely in Audacity, but after I export it as a wav file, it is absolutely silent.
