Re: Line in keeps muting

What is getting muted - playthrough of the line-in (at "Playback" tab of Windows "Sound", line-in Properties > Levels), or recording of line-in (at "Recording" tab of Windows "Sound", line-in Properties > Levels)? If playthrough is the problem, Transport > Sof...

Re: Adjustable Fade

Thanks, Robert. Obviously I struggle to follow in depth, but are you saying the current slider lacks sufficient range if applied to an existing fade? I am not sure about a practical case where the slider range is insufficient. I think two sliders for mid fade would be too much for a shipped effect.....

Re: Adjustable Fade

It doesn't make sense to define the curvature in terms of dB if the initial and final gain levels are arbitrary. OK. I think it's easier to explain that way. I would agree it is confusing for +50 to produce a cosine curve when anything > 0 were all supposed to be logarithmic. Is there any need to c...

Re: Musical Fade-In effect

@Steve - did you have any reaction about doing the opposite of Pro Fade In - bringing in more of the bass than the treble to begin with (to give a "coming in from off-stage" effect)? Or doesn't that sound good? It's not an effect that I've used often, but on the rare occasions that I have...

Re: Adjustable Fade

Would it help if the "Simple" fades were logarithmic and exponential? Mid Fade Cut/Boost: < 0 produces exponential Mid Fade Cut/Boost: = 0 produces linear Mid Fade Cut/Boost: > 0 produces logarithmic Mid Fade Cut/Boost: = +50 produces "Equal Power log" Currently, "positive&...

Re: Refresh selection during region label adjustment

Wiki Feature Requests has Moving a label draws original and current edge(s) in waveform without having to select the label I think if that was generalised more "moving or resizing a label draws original and current edge(s) in waveform" (less the "without having to select the label&quo...

Re: bigger fonts

I would like to see the Spinboxes the same height as the project rate text box bottom left, and the font scaled accordingly. I don't think the size you suggest would ever be accepted. I think the blue on dark grey for the digits is the main problem. I would propose blue or black on white background ...

Re: Uncompress FLAC to WAV

Set the project rate bottom left to what you want (this will be the sample rate of the exported file(s). File > Export... . In "Save as type", choose "WAV (Microsoft) signed 16 bit PCM". If you want some other type of WAV, choose "Other uncompressed files" instead, then...
