Re: windows 7 cannot open audacity project aup.file
I can open other projects, just not this one. I know that the file is saved because I have closed and opened it before. Re: WAV files from Audacity not being recognized to burn CDs
The maximum attachment size for the Forum is 2 MB. Make sure you are exporting 16-bit 44100 Hz stereo WAV files. See Tutorial - Burning music files to a CD . Export the files to your own user space. Don't drag the files from File Explorer into the burning app, because this could create permissions i...
Re: LAME
Forget the DMG of LAME. Please double-check you followed the instructions here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#maclame_zip . Do you see LAME 3.98.2 displayed in Libraries Preferences? If not, what does it say? You can make it even simpler. Once you have extract...

I deleted your duplicate topic in the Spanish Forum. Please only post in one topic. If you are reasonably proficient in English, it's probably better to just ask once in the Windows board of the English Help Forum: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewforum.php?f=46.

Re: vocal track skipping
My mic is a samson meteor USB connected by the way if that helps. In that case, and if you play a section of the recording several times and the skips are always in the same place, it is not a problem to do with the built-in sound card. It could be that you can find a solution in http://wiki.audaci...

Re: Recording is highly distorted and at a low volume.

Otherwise, if you only want a clean recording of the vinyl, do not choose What U Hear because it is ONLY meant for recording computer playback. How exactly are you connecti...

By first creating a WAV file using the "1.2 Recovery Utility" I assume? Not exactly. What I do is the following (I found this procedure crossing informations on internet, but I'm not an expert and don't really know what I'm doing): 1) I take the _data folder of the project, open the next ...
