Re: Menu unavailable
I just installed Audacity onto a new mac book pro and the menu bar is not showing. I don't know how to access it Macs do not have a menu bar attached to the application. The menu bar is in the global menu at the top of the computer screen. The global menu will only show Audacity when it has focus. ...

Re: libsoxr library in Windows x64 platform
I am trying to compile libsoxr library for Windows x64 platform. There is no need to build libsoxr separately. Just check out latest Audacity HEAD from SVN, open winaudacity.sln then press Build > Build Solution in VS 2008. See here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Developing_On_Windows . In Wind...

Re: Printing Out 2.0.2 Manual
Unfortunately, there is no PDF Manual for Audacity 2.0.x, which would be required if you wanted to print such an extensive document in one process. We do not have the resources to make an official, polished PDF Manual at the moment. If you want a *rough, unofficial* PDF for 2.0.2, you can try this: ...

Re: RECORDING FROM CASSETTE PLAYER TO MAC OS X 10.6.8
Got a connection white/red plugs into cassette player, other end being headphone plug into my computer. Seemed to record ok. but I realised it was recording from the built-in microphone. So quality poor. The Headphones port on the computer is an output, not an input. Does your Mac have an audio inp...

Re: Can't Install Error Message "Out of Memory?"
I thought this would install from the CD with no problems, but my new Gateway desktop's C: drive has 1.75TB free space of 1.80TB, so can anyone help me why I can't install the software, and I receive a message "Out of Memory" with a red "X"? Disk space is not the same as memory....

Re: no sound on Sony USB turntable
If the turntable is not recording from the USB cable, you will also not be able to play it through the computer speakers without recording. Does the turntable have red and white leads for connecting to speakers? It is simple (with an adaptor) to connect those leads to the Mac audio input and record ...
