Re: Export in Apply Chains are saving only one file
From what I can gather, you are applying Chains to a group of files that have no file extension. Yes if you import a file that lacks an extension (and Audacity recognises the file), this seems to populate the Audacity window title with ".aup". Then, each file exported by the Chain is calle...

Re: Exporting multiple limited by file size?
Select between label 39 and the next one (or select label 39 if it denotes a region) then File > Export Selection. Repeat for the other labels. I do not know what the issue is unless you are out of disk space, but please attach the AUP project file - see here http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic....

Re: How much RAM can Audacity address in Windows 7?
A 32-bit application like Audacity can use 4 GB RAM on a 64-bit Windows OS, which is split into 2 GB user address space and 2 GB kernel address space. This is quite complex, but I understood a 32-bit application can get 2 GB of user address space and 2 GB kernel space even on 32-bit Windows. A 32-b...

Re: please help
What is the model number of the guitar? Have you installed Behringer USB drivers? With some Berhringer devices the Behringer drivers can cause Audacity to give the error you see.

Re: Export Multiple – normalize each track on export
I see it that we need to attach Export Multiple commands to a Chain, or Chains to Export Multiple. I am not sure which way round it should be.

Re: removing scratches from old vynal recordings
it must be possible to write software that automatically does what my eyes can do: detect and draw-repair those cracks without introducing new impairments. I assume you found Effect > Repair (limited to 128 samples). What Audacity lacks at the moment is high quality click detection (and of course a...
