If this is a USB turntable and you mean that you lose sound in Windows when using the turntable, this is expected. At its simplest, just unplug the turntable. See here http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/fa ... k.html#usb .

If you are on Windows you don't want the 1.2.5 Koz suggested. The Windows 1.2.5 froze up after a few minutes of use and was replaced almost immediately by 1.2.6.

Audacity as shipped doesn't support ASIO, so the Behringer only works in Audacity without ASIO.

ART Phono Plus only has a headphones out, not RCA outs, I think. V2 has RCA outs.
