Re: playing imported file from CD

But you're not out of the running. I have a license for Parallel's Desktop and you can get Boot Camp for your Mac. Both of those will allow you to run Windows software on your Mac. Koz The player itself is free http://www.fortherecord.com/products/therecordplayer . VirtualBox is a free alternative ...

Re: My Mac laptop says no to Audacity 2.2

Even if an Audacity Mac developer wanted to pay Apple's developer fee, there are apparently technical issues in signing Audacity then getting it to launch on OS X 10.4 to 10.6 (which did not have "Gatekeeper"). I believe this problem should be reduced from 2.0.3 onwards as the Audacity ap...

Re: Sliding Time/Scale Pitch result sounds strange (SOLVED)

Gale, I just tested with a new build of Audacity 2.0.4-alpha-Feb 8 2013: still garbled! It's the same super-garbled effect that was reported before by others. Just to be clear, you uninstalled the Audacity package you were using, and built Audacity from a HEAD checkout? mrvanes: are you on a ...

Re: Any way to export:M4A/AAC in a chain?

Can you be specific what the issue is, with steps to reproduce? I don't see a problem with a file with one dot in the name. The issue (and it's noted in the documentation) is that if there is a dot in a filename, export won't "auto-add" .m4a as a suffix, at least in "project mode&quo...

Re: Audacity doesn't open in moutain lion

On my Mountain Lion (OSX 10.8.2) Audacity won't open and gives the following message: "Audacity" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers. I tried downloading it...

Re: playing imported file from CD

Can the person who put these files on the CD help you?

You could search Google for TRM players for Mac, but I could not find anything.

Re: Sliding Time/Scale Pitch result sounds strange (SOLVED)

Hi, I just updated to 2.0.3 via the normal Precise updates now transitioning into 12.0.4.2. I am on am AMD64 system and the sliding time/scale pitch effect is completely unusable. It looks like this still is not fixed. Is there anything I can do? Are there known bug reports open? Where should I go ...

Re: Any way to export:M4A/AAC in a chain?

Thanks, I don't have enough posts to be trusted to PM. Sorry I did not notice. But I can e-mail instructions to you if you especially want to export M4A in a chain. in looking at how apply chain on files works, I see it doesn't recursively scan import folders so it isn't a useful as I thought it wo...
