Re: Autostart Mulitiple Projects
Leaving aside if your computer can handle all the projects in terms of disk space and resources, try opening a terminal, cd to the directory holding the AUP files, then: $ audacity project1.aup project2.aup project3.aup and so on. Each project will open in its own project window. You can't repeat a ...

Re: Equalization less capable under Mac OSX?
Note that there is a known bug in the current version in which curves are not converted accurately when switching between "Graphic" and "Draw" modes. For most purposes (for example, if you want to reuse the curve you just applied, or import a curve) don't use "Draw Curves&q...

Re: Integration with Ableton Live
I have searched the internet and found a similar discussion and what appeared to be the correct answer but when I tried out their solution, it didn't work, You will need to tell us about that. What are you trying to do with Audacity and what is the problem? I am guessing you are trying to use Audac...

Re: Labels wish-list
If the user prefers to be able to delete the selected labels even when a label is open for editing, they can choose this behaviour by changing the key binding to a non-printable sequence (for example Ctrl+Shift+H) Most text and word processors don't allow SHIFT + DELETE to do anything. Wouldn't it ...

Re: No audio output on Windows 7 laptop[SOLVED]
That was exactly the problem. The volume slider was defaulted to all the way down to the bottom. OK I marked the topic as "Solved". Audacity doesn't actually have any intended control over its slider in the Windows Volume Mixer. It operates directly on the "Device" slider (the s...

Re: Problem recording 24-bit with Roland Quad-Capture
There was also an issue with slow launching of Audacity but I'm unsure if that has been resolved or not. That issue has been around for a long time, but the WASAPI-enabled builds do take about one-third longer to launch compared to 2.0.3 Release. Another issue that came in with the changes for WASA...

Re: Labels wish-list
I can definitely see a user doing that, but that is not how label deletion works via Edit > Remove Audio or Labels, because that menu works on selections (like most of Edit Menu). The naive user will probably not see the distinction that you are making. They selected a label, and expected the "...

Re: Labels wish-list
If it even had a button (as well as the menu item) - for example in the Label Track Control Panel - I would be much happier with it. I'm not sure what you're getting at. What would the button do? The same as Edit > Remove Audio or Labels > Remove Selected Labels ? Then perhaps we have something mor...

Re: Labels wish-list
we do have Edit > Remove Audio or Labels > Split Cut ( or Split Delete) That is a reasonable workaround in some situations, but it's not a full replacement for a simple way to remove labels. But surely that deletes not just the labels but the selected label region as well so any succeeding labels a...

Re: Can't align label tracks with another label track
The issue is that the label track should be affected by the selection on an audio track by pressing the down or up arrow(effectively choosing the label track) and pressing enter(to transfer the selection from the audio track to the label track). OK I can confirm on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux that ...
