All three LADSPA effects - GVerb, SC4 and Hard Limiter - that should have been shipped were omitted by accident on Mac.
They were included on Windows.

Re: Wave image small, sound inaudible
Yes, it does. Both the Audacity output slider and the input slider will affect the achieved volume of the recording.Gale Andrews wrote:does turning up the Audacity input slider in Mixer Toolbar http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/mixer_toolbar.html make any difference?

Re: Wave image small, sound inaudible
Done all that: still no explanation of difference between direct input (e.g. from radio) and streaming (e.g. from iPlayer) or how to correct it The difference is simple - choose the Soundflower input in Audacity when you want to record streaming audio and the built-in input when you want to record ...

Re: Gverb? Freeverb?
GVerb is included in Audacity 2.0.3. Look in the Effect menu below the dividing line. Unfortunately GVerb and Hard Limiter were omitted from 2.0.3 :( http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=207578#p207578 . I've already given John a link to the current LADSPA zip for Mac: http://gaclrecords.o...

Re: Windows 7 - Audacity 2.0.3 Not recording stream audio
It may be a long shot, but there is a situation not mentioned in the Audacity tutorials. If you have disabled 'microphone' in your computer bios setup, it may also disable the "Stereo Mix", "Wave Out", "Sum", "What U Hear", "Loopback" or similar fun...

Re: Labels wish-list
@Gale: do I assume correctly that you have teased out all the votes from this thread - and that thus I can archive it? Yes - and I had some PM's and e-mails about it from others too. I don't have time to digest all the opinions and votes and make it suitable for Feature Requests right now, but some...

Re: beep on completion of batch processing
My opinion is you could count this as two votes for a beep after a full Chain completes (but no beep for individual dialogues in a Chain).waxcylinder wrote:BUMP
does this need transferring to the Wiki or just archiving?
Peter
Then archive this.

Re: Multiple Export unable to export more than 1 of 30 files
None of this really explains why Audacity failed without apparently any message in the list of files. From what I recall, an exported MP3 file may be shortened if you run out of disk space, without Audacity giving an error message, whereas there is an error message when you export WAV or AIFF and th...

Re: Trouble installing
You posted in the correct section :) Moderator note : no - I moved it for the poster - Peter ;) Assuming you have restarted Audacity, you'll need to get Windows to see the USB Audio Codec for this cassette player before you can record from it. I suggest you follow all the steps (including trying a n...

Re: meta data changing language
found and installed FFmpeg for Audacity. No longer seeing failed messages in the log. Thanks - those messages are not really errors - just a notice that you have not installed FFmpeg. Importing files that lack numbers in the file names does not stop the Unicode characters appearing in the log for m...
