Re: Sound / Silence Marker
Negative votes aren't really allowed on Feature Requests, but I'm still of the opinion that the current effects have the right idea a) a simple Silence Finder b) as complex as you like Sound Finder (and I guess it "could" find silence too). Think "Bass and Treble" versus EQ, Comp...

Re: Custom Shortcut Amplify - no luck
And even in 2.0.1 onwards, shortcuts for Generate, Effect and Analyze are not exported to the XML file, due to a bug.steve wrote:Sorry, my mistake. Binding keyboard shortcuts to effects is not available in Audacity 2.0.0. That feature was introduced in Audacity 2.0.1

Re: Apple: AU Matrixreverb doesn 't work.
If you really want GVerb, please see here for a couple of solutions http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 78#p207578 .
We hope that the next 2.0.4 release of Audacity will have a new built-in Reverb to replace GVerb.

Re: Audacity isn't hearing my voice well anymore
Audacity keeps your old settings intact when you reinstall, so unless you choose "Reset Preferences" in the installer, reinstallation is usually pointless.
Have you tried selecting this microphone port as input device in Audacity Device Toolbar ?

Re: Read, Add, Edit and Write Loop and Cue markers to Wav
Did you compile the patch and try it?Gale I guess that you mean a patch of Audacity which I should compile. Where/how to do that? Sorry I'm still a Newbie st this moment. We all have to start somewhere. It is not really a patch yet (a "patch" would be a file listing differences between th...
