In the log I can perfectly see which files are missing, and they are just sitting in the same folder as the _data and .aup files. But still the .aup project don 't find them. We hope that the next 2.0.4 release of Audacity will have a new built-in Reverb to replace GVerb.

Audacity keeps your old settings intact when you reinstall, so unless you choose "Reset Preferences" in the installer, reinstallation is usually pointless.

Have you tried selecting this microphone port as input device in Audacity Device Toolbar ?
