Re: Karaoke, Rotation, Panning & more
Yes if there is a user-level Manual included (or the developers can be persuaded to add a Help button to Nyquist effects so that online documentation could be linked to), and terminology and cross references to it can be made consistent, then it's reasonable for Wiki. But still sub-optimal if that's...

Re: Karaoke, Rotation, Panning & more
Thanks, Robert. What is that "smps" in the "Delay" choice? I can guess but would rather hear your answer. I urge no one to use the special effects. They are included because they improve the overall removal/isolation effect. By "special effects" do you mean rotations an...

Re: Recording from cassette is muddy
An AUP file is not audio, just a text file that says how to play the audio in the project's _data folder.
If it is a Dolby tape, is the Dolby button on the tape deck pressed down?
If you want us to hear the audio, please see http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 49&t=72887 .

Re: Recording True Stereo HELP
By the way, sometimes a single mic input can be switched to line-in using a physical button or a software control, but that is rare now. Check your computer manual.

Re: Recording True Stereo HELP
Audacity can record true stereo if you give it true stereo. You need to connect to blue line-in of the computer. If you only have one input on the laptop it is not a proper line-in. It is either a mono mic input or a compatible input that accepts stronger line level stereo input if you connect a ste...

Re: Audacity 2.x Software Recording
On 2 of my 3 computers Audacity 2.0.3 works perfectly, but on the 3rd I can load up an mp3 file...play, edit and save perfectly, but will record 1 out of a hundred times. When the recording does work it works as it should all day long until I shut it off. On all systems the only way the recording w...

Re: Karaoke, Rotation, Panning & more
Thanks for the update, Robert. I still think the isolation is excellent but equally I think this will still be very hard to use for most unless we can tweak the presentation and add help screens (or remove everything except isolation and removal). Who is it intended for ? For Isolation/Removal: Para...
