Re: Stops saving to desktop after awhile
Do any error message boxes appear when you cannot export the WAV file? Are there any error messages in Help > Show Log... ? Are you deleting the track and the original WAV file then exporting to the same file name and location as the WAV you deleted? See http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi...

If you look around on this page http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Recording_Tips you'll probably find something to help, such as http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Micro ... _for_Voice .

Re: AIFF files will not play on iPod, will on iTunes
Yes, I changed the preference to "Aiff" and it changed to Convert to Aiff iTunes created a AIFF-C file. Did not try to play on iPod Please do try to play it on iPod. And tell us which file you converted. Was it an Audacity export multiple file that did not play before you converted it? Or...

Re: How do I put .aup file back so audacity can read it
Unfortunately, I put phasor 1a.aup inside the folder phasor 1a_data. Then you could move it out. Right-click or control-click over "phasor 1a.aup" and choose the option to copy it. Then double-click one item to the left in the trail of locations at the bottom of the Finder window, or othe...

Re: Audacity does not launch on 10.8.4
Downloads can get interrupted and damaged that way. That doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the file on the server. If that is the problem you need to clear the download list in your web browser or download manager. Otherwise they may just keep giving you the damaged file from their cache. Th...

Re: Previous tracks bleed into the new one (Samson G-Track)
If you set the Audacity playback and recording devices to a USB mic that has a built in headphones jack and ensure the mic doesn't send the computer playback back to Audacity I don't see why you would get bleed through of the tracks you're singing over. Exactly. In all innocence, I tried doing a fe...

Re: horrible crackling with multiple overdubs
I checked the faq as you suggested earlier however it didn't provide the information pertaining to this particular problem. again, the sound is basically a cutting out, not a clipping so to speak, but a static half in half out sort of sound (if you can envision that ) I still think you should follo...
