Re: Exports some channels of a multi channel WAV as silence
It works for me. You have eight tracks but you only want six output channels. Please state exactly which tracks you are going to mix into which channels to achieve that. The best way to do that is to set up the Advanced Mixing Options as you want it, then attach an image of that window. ALT + PrtScr...

Re: AIFF files will not play on iPod, will on iTunes
@audio_pete - when you get time, a couple of files for you to test-play here: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=220043#p220043 . We'll let you know when Koz does some more testing if he encounters the same problems that you do, or different ones. He'll test the two files above so it woul...

I agree, but I think I already have your vote.Robert J. H. wrote:Which reminds me that clips are still not accessible.
Two shortcuts "select next clip" and "select previous clip" wouldn't be bad.

Re: Toggling between labels in single track
Thanks for your input anyway. Would you want Audacity just to have a shortcut to move to the next label and then have a default shortcut to play that label? Another way of approaching this is to have a shortcut that navigates to the next label but does not open it (so you can then use SPACE to Play/...

Re: Previous tracks bleed into the new one (Samson G-Track)
something called SD·MS/Pro MMC·XD It's a slot for a memory card . I checked the specs and I can upgrade up to 3 Gb. Would it solve by itself the USB 1 sluggishness? 3 GB RAM can only help the general responsiveness of the machine, assuming Pup Studio can cope with it. It won't help the USB sluggish...

Glad it was fixed.
For anyone else who reads this, also make sure you connect to a spare USB port, not to a USB hub that has other USB devices connected to it.

Re: Toggling between labels in single track
Yes, I'd like to use the keyboard and just press one button because I will be playing an instrument as well. I see what you mean by using "tab" to set the cue and then clicking play in the transport bar. That would indeed work, but I don't want to have to deal with the mouse. I messed aro...

Re: AIFF files will not play on iPod, will on iTunes
For Text chunks there may be an odd or even number of bytes, depending on the number of text character. This is where we see a repeatable problem for your iPod, Koz's older iPod and Riff-Pad. It appears that Apple have fixed the problem on newer iPod models as Koz's newer iPod will play these files...

Re: Problem using the Equalization effect
I think the bug went deeper than that. Curves created in Graphic mode will corrupt if you reapply them in the same session. It's better to create curves in Draw Curves mode and stop in that mode.

Re: Lost data Files
Hi Bob
As I said on [email protected], Windows copy and paste is OK if you do the paste into a different folder than the one the original AUP and _data folder are in (because then Windows does not rename the AUP and _data folder).
But it's still safer do to Save Project As.
