Re: Blank sound files after crash, error 126.
I've never had it where the recovery has brought back blank files. Do you have recovery a lot? I don't have it that often, i'm not sure how much is the normal amount but I think i'm probably at risk of crashing when i'm editing Audacity projects with tons of tracks. How many is "tons"? Wh...

Re: loudness to low
...What can be done to get a good loudness with Audacity as with the zoom? Try moving the playback-volume slider to the right ... http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/mixer_toolbar.html It is already at the most right position. Also I doubleclicked the slider and ajusted the volume furthermore. But t...

Re: data folders larger when stereo tracks to mono why?
I can't actually get that to work here unless I use the "Quote" button and select the text to be quoted in the message editing window. Are you clicking the right "QUOTE" button? There's a "Quote" button in the row of buttons above the message compose box. That just add...

Re: data folders larger when stereo tracks to mono why?
assuming the audio in each track is different sorry, not sure what that's referring to I was thinking of Audacity reusing audio data that is the same, as discussed recently, so that if you had one track then copy/pasted that to new tracks (or duplicated) to make eight tracks, this takes no more dis...

Re: Recording with behringer 1202 usb
It needs to be 2.1.2. Look at Help > About Audacity... . Those buttons seem fickle. One user claimed they got it to work with those settings, which are what the Behringer Forums say to use, and one never got it to work with any combination of those buttons and we never heard the solution to it. But ...

Re: need help recovering a recorded dj mix
Just to add. The contents of /var/folders/ is cleaned out by the Mac on rebooting. So don't reboot the Mac until you have done the recovery, or better still, copy the project folder in var/folders/ to your Documents folder or somewhere else in your user space so that it's safe.

Re: I Recovered My Data
As for RMS, MIN and MAX it has no effect on the output (I tested it on the first file on one channel). I expected you guys to be able to tell me their purpose easily since you recently changed the way the AUP file is saved (between 2.0.2 and 2.1.2) so the MIN and MAX is recorded differently. We did...
