Re: Replaying labels x-times
Is it possible in Audacity to: 1) Create labels (I know the Analyze->Regular Interwal Labels feature) of regular length, let's say, 5 seconds and 2) Make it replay, let's say, 5 times and 3) Make it, then, proceed to the next label/selected audio fragment 4) with the possibility of going back to th...

Re: Very simple help needed with mixing times
I'm now having trouble getting the two songs to "line up" properly so that the beat matches. Is there any way to get the beats to match easily? Get the beats matched at the start of the overlap between the two songs. If you select the song and Edit > Duplicate then you will have a second ...

Re: How do I get audacity to use the time shift when exporti
Though some people do want to respect audio before zero, which only export multiple does. That would seem to produce an undefined file since you can't "see" before zero. Why would you want that? And how did you get that without causing Audacity to become unstable? Audacity manages behind-...

Re: Seperate volumes for Stereo Mix input and output
What are you trying to record - just the piano or live computer playback as well ? Are you using an external microphone to do this? Normally you would record a digital piano using a cable that went from headphones out or line-out/aux out of the keyboard to line-in of the computer - see http://manual...

Re: Audacity 2.0.4 still crashes
With Audacity 2.0.5-alpha nightly Sept 17 (which should include r12561) with initialized CFG... My test suite imported fine using File > Import > Audio and using drag and drop into an empty project window ... except in two instances (which I cannot now reproduce). These two cases were for an OGG fi...
Re: HELP
What was the "pre-mp3"? An AUP Audacity project? You should not delete those until you are sure the audio is correct. The AUP is lossless quality so you can export as many MP3's as you like from the project and each MP3 has the same quality (slightly lossy). If you re-import your MP3 to ed...

Re: Audacity does not open
Please see Audacity Crash report attached The report is not very clear but the problem is probably Waves v9 Audio Units which are not currently compatible with Audacity. So follow http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/User:BillWharrie/How_to_prevent_Audio_Unit_and_VST_plug-ins_crashing_Audacity_launch_...

Re: Click Track
Please read the Manual to find out how features work http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/beat_finder.html . Beat Finder tries to detect where the beats are and puts a label point at each beat. You just enter a threshold value to try and help it with the detection, but it is not perfect at detecting...
