When I press the red Record button sometimes the Pause button goes down as if I pressed it and nothing happens. Thanks, Mark. What I meant though was physically reselecting "Record Master" even though it was already selected. There were a very few reports in 2.0.4 that this re-selection was necessary. It was a problem that the selected device was not being initialised correctly unless reselected. Gale

Turn off Software Playthrough (on/off) in the Transport Menu. Software Playthrough will have a checkmark (tick) to show that it is on. Click it once to turn it off.

Software Playthrough should not be on when recording computer playback.

Have you tried with "Windows WDM-KS" host in 2.0.4?

You can download material from YouTube (search Google) and I think some content on iPlayer is downloadable.
