Thanks, Bill. Also it doesn't have Install.txt which seems pretty important if the build really isn't signed. I'm not clear whether the signage is broken or Apple changed something again in OS X 10.8.5.

Re: Track Drop-down Menu commands
I wonder how many people change waveform view on the fly? Putting just those in a sub-menu would reduce the complexity and mean no current access keys would need to change. Ideally if there was space it could be better to have one menu for the name, position and assignment choices and another for ra...

Re: Help! Audacity 2.0.4 crashes!
At this time I'm not sure if I should try and get it working on the other 4 workstations, since I didn't even do anything to resolve the issue. I suggest you try the 2.0.5rc1 release candidate from http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=225742#p225742 . If there are no major reported problem...

Re: Program files will not open
There is no such thing as a data file, it's a _data folder. If you read the link I posted you can see the required structure. Please attach the AUP file for the project you want to open. Please see here for how to attach files: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=64936 . If the me...

Re: After Windows 7, 64bit Update
OK, thanks for replying. The Preferences reset would make Audacity use the MME (most compatible) audio host.

Re: Audacity 2.0.5 release candidate 1 available for testing
I can install two different Audacity versions by calling one of them a different name, right? That's not going to cause chaos? I rather like 2.0.3 for actual work. Koz Yes. You can have multiple Audacity versions and it should not create problems with existing file associations with 2.0.3 or with F...

Are some or all of the issues solved? It may help others to know how you solved problems. Was the problem that you were using the Windows WDM-KS host in the first box of Audacity Device Toolbar?wiggedy wrote:Perfect, thanks Gale

Re: Compiling Audacity 2.0.3 with Cygwin
Such instructions as there are for Cygwin in http://audacity.googlecode.com/svn/auda ... ompile.txt are years old.
I think you are on your own. Use MSVC 2008 then you can get support.
