Re: Alesis Multimix - how to disconnect the usb connection ?

Re: The recordings sounds strange, return to default values?

Audacity only records the signal you give it. See here for how to reinstall Audacity while resetting pre...

Re: Super USB Cassette Capture Won't Work

Try changing the USB cable or take the device back where you got it from. The only other thing you can try is turning off Transport > Software Playthrough in Audacity. Just start recording before you have the tape playing and delete the unwanted lead in after recording.

Re: Line in Won't Record in Stereo

Sorry, Gale, is this the wrong place for the question? I thought it was correct because I'm recording. Sorry about that. It's the "wrong" place because most times we can't help properly without knowing what operating system the enquirer is on. You still haven't told us, so if you need mor...

Re: 2.0.2 on Vista - Clicking black merge line crashes Audac

I would suggest you use CTRL + J to to remove the split lines from time to time. By default that will select all the project audio then perform the merge.

And even if you do realise it is very easy to forget to draw the selection in both tracks. Others have made your suggestion and I think it is a very reasonable request.
