Audacity doesn't have real-time effects, if that helps.
I don't think anyone here has iLok2, so no-one can test the plug-ins you mention.

OS 10.9.1 (Mavericks) Audacity 2.0.4 Soundflower Preferences: Input and output set to Soundflower Streaming audio from WEKU FM, Handel's Messiah, total approx. 1hr 20 min., started out very nice and clear. Less than halfway, began to hear occasional "static", which turned into pulsating c...

Re: How to use transport toolbar (advance/return) ?
But if you use this and want to work on both ends of the zoomed in selection, another useful pair of commands is View > Go to Selection Start (CTRL + [ ) and Go to Selection End (CTRL + ] ). This places the start or end of the selection respectively in the centre of the screen. Which brings up Edit...

Re: How to use transport toolbar (advance/return) ?
A dynamical selection adaption would be great, I've always missed this feature. It should be a kind of intelligent too in order to function efficiently. For instance, a short part (0.1 s) of the selection start or end would be played twice or trice when the boundary is move in either direction. Aft...

Re: Two bugs (or at least programming related issues) to V2.
I'm using Mac V10.6.8. Importing direct from the CD are .aiff format files, not .wav. But is it possible to program within audacity to look at the highest number, note the number of digits, then add leading zeros? Like it reads there are 11 tracks, so it would make 1 into 01, etc. Very few new Macs...

Re: Error Initializing Audio
'Updated all my drivers' with the 'Update drivers' feature. (Auto-search/update from windows) Which is not the proper way to do it. Please see: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Updating_Sound_Device_Drivers . What you want to do is go to the web site of the computer manufacturer (if it's a branded...

Re: Live USB key: external record
Why won't the owner of the computer let you boot in to the native operating system? If (s)he is worried about privacy then you could put Audacity for Windows on the USB stick assuming the native OS is Windows: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Portable_Audacity As far as possible, I don't want to u...
