Re: Try to delete only selected portion of audio and end up
I didn't know that existed. I shall look through it and see what I can find out about my problem. Guess I should have looked for something like that beforehand, huh? audacity4blind isn't easy to find but I have added more links to it on our web pages. Just subscribe to the list and ask there...

Re: Record from soundcard
Thanks for assistance all round. I'm not 100% about what everything means (eg stereomix) so have just been randomly trying all the permutations. Stereo Mix is an input on some sound cards that lets you record audio that can be heard playing on that same sound card. Also, the input box is very small...

Re: Forum "migration" information from 2010 displayed in 201
Thanks, Trebor. I would guess Buanzo was updating the phpBB version to 3.0.12 and he posted by mistake the interrupt notice when we tried to migrate to myBB several years ago.

Re: Recordings on playback choppy, skipping
If the correct drivers don't help, look at the "Audio to buffer" setting in Audacity's Recording Preferences and buffer settings in Scarlett if you can access buffer settings.

Re: recording not working after upgrade to windows 7
I think I have the soundcard issues fixed. However, when recording, the input levels are maxed out to the right. I can't adjust to lower the levels. When moving mouse to mixer tool bar, or on microphone icon, I can't adjust. I get left/right arrow but no ability to adjust input levels. Any ideas? I...

Re: Record from soundcard
Actually I've now found the speaker icon bottom right but it doesn't matter which option I choose, I can't record from the soundcard. I just have microphone and stereo mix. I have to have microphone as default and stereomix disabled or I get nothing at all when recording. That's obviously not right...

Re: How to align multiple tracks to the right
What items are in Tracks > Sub-menu 1 (Move selected tracks together to align with ...) ? "End to End", "Together" and the two new commands?
