Re: recording not working after upgrade to windows 7

The clock icon is "sync lock tracks" when I right click. Audacity does not have the system clock that tells you the time of day. The system clock is bottom right of your computer screen, assuming you have not reoriented the Windows Taskbar. Right-click over the speaker icon that is somewh...

Re: Automate Editing

Audacity doesn't have a macro recorder but you can use a third-party macro recorder obviously. Audacity has Chains ( http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/edit_chains.html ) for applying to files or projects. Chains support Nyquist plug-ins, but as far as I know there is no Nyquist plug-in that delet...

Re: Audio Strech Help

P.S. The Change Tempo/Change Pitch library we use (called SoundTouch) has been updated for the next 2.0.6 release, so will give a somewhat better result in 2.0.6 than the result in your image. If you use Change Tempo on your 0.19 seconds of audio, it will extend to 0.7 seconds, but with some parts a...

Re: Audio Strech Help

To change only the tempo without changing pitch, use Sliding Time Scale/Pitch Shift instead of Change Tempo. Change Tempo tends to introduces silences which will be significant in a very short clip. If you want to change the pitch as well as tempo, use Change Speed. The formula for length changes us...

Re: AVS Media Demo voice overrides Audacity recording

Audacity doesn't use "playlists". This the only Audacity version we can help you with: http://audacityteam.org/download/windows .

We cannot help you with AVS problems at all.

Re: Cannot save or export!

Don't run Audacity from the DMG. There is a big sticky message about it on the Mac Forum: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 47&t=75660 .

Re: Splitting .ape and .cue files into separately named trac

As a newbie, is it possible to automatically extract the individual tracks (with names) form the cue and ape files ? Audacity cannot read or write cue sheets yet but you can find tools to convert between Audacity label text files and cue sheets here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Cue_sheets . G...

Re: Splitting .ape and .cue files into separately named trac

As far as I'm aware .ape files are not supported by Audacity so you will need to use something else to convert them to a supported format before editing in Audacity. More information about .ape format is available on http://www.monkeysaudio.com Audacity can import APE if you add FFmpeg to your comp...

Re: AVS Media Demo voice overrides Audacity recording

You could open System Restore and restore your computer to a restore point from a time before you installed AVS.

And as you've been told before, please ask AVS if you cannot solve the problem yourself:

Re: Unable To Record With New Microphone[SOLVED]

When testing the Blue Spark I tried it in both the front USB ports but to no avail. I have now plugged it into a rear USB 2.0 port and it works. I then tried it in a USB 3.0 port but received the same error message in Audacity as per previous. Hmm. I think only Blue could answer that, but I marked ...
