When syncronizing 2 audios (tracks of films in different languages), which is pure production, this feature would help me a lot, by just slowing down the tracks so the sync is b...

Re: volume surge about twice per second

Buy a USB interface that accepts line level input.

If your amplifier does have a line out or aux out that would usually be higher quality than the headphones output .

Re: recording is randomly interrupted

No flat lines are found on the deck, the blue waves the red and green meters while recording except at the beginning of the tape before the music starts to play and in between songs on the tape. In your first post you said: the silences were recorded Which statement is correct? If the recording is ...

Re: Default "Play At Speed" Retained Until Reset?

There may well be people now who use different speed slider settings per project window, so I doubt that changing the speed slider in one window should change it identically in another open window like moving the input/output level does. I think it should work as the Selection Toolbar format does (t...

Re: Recovering part of an audio track!

there is a time where I make a stupid mistake like that! If you're working on a complex project that needs a lot of time spent on it, consider File > Save Project As... and save as a new name like song_project_stage_2_jan_05_14. Then the original project is closed in its last saved state and you'll...

Re: LP TO CD

So you are complaining about your computer not Audacity. Have you considered shouting at the computer manufacturer too? What does "immediate mode" mean? If you politely give us some information about what type of record player you have and how it is connected to the computer, we "migh...

Re: netbook

Je ne parle pas français.

Netbooks à bas prix ne sont pas adaptés pour l'édition de plus d'une chanson de trois minutes dans Audacity.

Netbooks ne sont bonnes que pour un peu e-mail et la navigation Web.

Re: Produce an acapella song?

This only works well if the instrumentals in the two tracks really are identical.
