Re: Glitch at 1:04:33
Yesterday, after importing the track again, I found the problem in a different location where it had not been before. The track was imported from a .WAV file which I had exported from in a recent Audacity alpha release (which I was using because a bug affecting timing of speed changes has been repa...

Re: Glitch at 1:04:33
Nor is there a "2:13" version. Alphas are not releases. As it says in the pink panel at the top of the page, it is best if you think there is a "bug" to post on the forum board relevant to your operating system. That way we get to know your operating system, which you have not to...

Do you mean "losslessly", therefore not the hybrid lossy compression with .wvc correction file for lossless?peeps wrote:You can compress loosely via wv, but your savings will be around a factor of 2.

Moved to the Windows board. I don't understand why this was posted in the GNU/Linux board.

Re: Audacity Takes 45 Seconds To Open
I hope you meant 2.1.2. You probably can't do very much about it, if reboot doesn't help, except look at any changes you made that might be making Audacity slower. Examples of what might be making Audacity slower are connecting additional real or virtual audio devices, or scanning by anti-virus / se...

Re: No warning when running out of disk space, just silence.
I was editing a large file, and after executing a trim silence everything looked good. But after scrolling through the audio I found that some regions were just silence. This happened because I ran out of disk space during the execution of the filter and no warning was issued, leaving the file with...

Re: Record volume is very low
I don't think this is a "case" as you called it in your previous topic. These are problems with your computer, not Audacity. Even though the microphone slide is all the way to the <+>, the amplitude is barely visible on the monitor. Playback can barely be heard. On my prior PC, with the se...

Re: Multi-channel Recording in Audacity
Thanks for the information. Can you be more specific for the sake of other users? Does this require compiling Audacity with ASIO support, choosing a specific host such as Windows WASAPI in Device Toolbar, or using specific drivers from Tascam?boss96 wrote:Tascam 16x08 works for 16 individual tracks.
