I have a Windows Sound Recorder but when it is activated I cannot record in Audacity. Do you mean by "activated" that it is recording? As long as you choose MME host in Audacity then generally, you should be able to record a separate stream in Audacity and Sound Recorder at the same time....

That may not be a good thing, if Windows downloaded that driver of its own accord. You'd hope that Lenovo would post the latest correct audio drivers...
