Re: Triple recording

When you exported multiple tracks to an MP3, Audacity would have warned you that they would be mixed down in the exported file.

Re: Lame.exe

As stated you need to follow: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#lame . If Windows does not let you install Lame for Audacity, log in as administrator before installing, or right-click over "Lame_v3.99.3_for_Windows.exe" and choose "Run as administ...

Re: Lame.exe

Roy, You already acknowledged my reply on [email protected]. The answer is the same. To add MP3 support to Audacity, please see this page: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#lame . That download includes LAME.exe, but you have to follow the instructions given. You can't ...

Re: separate songs in recording file

Re: Audacity Seems to close without notification.

If you meant "unchecking external input" (that's what I meant), there is no benefit in recording your mic into FRAPS and Audacity at the same time when the whole point was to separate the two inputs.

Re: Aggregate device as input not working in Audacity

This solution worked, however, for the most part. Calls recorded with both my mic device and Skype. The only trouble is that when I speak into my mic, I can hear myself with a delay. I assume it's something to do with the audio being looped back. Any idea how to eliminate that? You could see what w...

Re: new user with windows 8 having problems getting started!

Is it easiest to access the music files via itunes or spotify? Did you mean to get the two original music files from those suppliers? I'm guessing either one assuming they're not copy protected files. iTunes will not let you drag music to the desktop if it's under FairPlay protection. There are two...

Re: Icon audio files

You can also "vote" for Audacity to directly edit MP3's like MP3DirectCut. Let me know if you want to do this. Yes, can you do it please ? Yes the vote will get added. Removing and adding images does not rewrite the audio data so this does not degrade the audio quality. Suddenly :D ...
