The current Audacity version is 2.0.5 - http://audacityteam.org/download/windows . The pages for the individual Preferences sections in the Manual ( http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/preferences.html ) show the default preferences. You can only see audacity.cfg if you show hidden files and folder...

...but would make the search completely useless with some naming schemes, such as: track01, track02, track03... Maybe something closer to a regular expression search, then. True regular expressions would be arcane to people accustomed to menus for searches, but just having 2 escapable wildcard char...

Change of speed chage audio quality also, audio changed very badly. Change of speed barely changes the audio quality at all. It speeds up or slows down the audio, like changing the speed of a cassette tape or record. It does change the pitch. Speeding it up makes it sound "higher" and slo...

Well Windows is the majority platform, and features don't have to be rolled out to every platform on launch. If someone provided a patch for global shortcuts on Windows then a decision would have to be made about it. Linux developers have sometimes said that if the feature can't work on Linux then ...
