Re: Exporting wav files to thumb drive.
I doubt it will help, but try exporting WAV to your Desktop then drag the files to the thumb drive. Look in the Manual for the thumb drive in case it is configured to make automatic backups. Let us know what the solution was. Give us the make and model number of the thumb drive if it was a problem w...

Re: ffmpeg support not compiled in
Audacity source code supports FFmpeg up to 0.8, and support is enabled by default. Uninstall the Audacity 2.0.1, try this link, then you can have latest Audacity code and FFmpeg: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/CompilingAudacityForBeginners#simple . If you prefer 2.0.5 release, substitute this in ...

That would solve it too, but they don't need to be together in their original folder. They can be together in any folder.kozikowski wrote:What's the chances of putting them both back in exactly the folder they left?

Re: I can't hear anything in the recording?
Well, whatever I did it fixed it. I don't need help anymore. That's good. :) And thanks for telling us it's fixed. But bear in mind that we're also trying to help other users who may read this topic (or even you, if the problem comes back). It's incorrect to suggest that some unspecified plug-ins a...

Re: I can't hear anything in the recording?
I think I fixed it. I installed it on my laptop and didn't install the plug ins and it worked. I reinstalled audacity on my PC and didn't install the plug ins and it's working now. There are no "plug-ins" that affect anything to do with playback and recording. If you reinstalled Audacity ...

Re: no Signal Vinyl recording
Problem was, as you suggested, the amount of channels.. I just barely understand why, and the other question now is: Do i have now always six channels open while recording and then have to manually delete the 1. 2. and 5 and 6th channel afterwards? Not a big deal, but an extra task.... Yes. Audacit...

Re: I can't hear anything in the recording?
Open Device Toolbar in Audacity. Change the playback device to the device you are using to listen to computer playback. Turn the output slider up in Mixer Toolbar: http://manual.audacityteam.org/m/images/2/2b/MixerToolbarWithoutInputSelect.png What version of Windows exactly? It sounds like the only...

Re: Remove all sounds that can hurt the ears
thanks to your experienced feedback, I have realized that I couldn't do anything interesting with my recording. It was not good enough to be able to improve it, so I am going to get a lapel mic, the SmartLav. I moved your post to your original topic. I have no idea why you posted it in a topic abou...
