Re: Silence added after .OGG export

OGG Export in 2.0.2 seems to have the same number of samples as the input, so I don't think the Audacity version upgrade would explain why the problem was fixed. Were you using a very high or non-standard sample rate?

Re: NVIDIA Sound Card Version 1.3.18.0 Not Compatible

i performed a 'Test' on both, and the 'Speakers (High Definition Audio)' are my Boston Acoustics speakers, and the 'HF2701 NVIDIA High Definition Audio' are the built-in speakers on my monitor. They suck. The 'Speakers (HD Audio) are my default. Where do those Boston Speakers connect to your comput...

Re: Include exclude tracks in random time selects

Hi. Can i do this for every possible feature that build on selection of sound. Can you try writing your questions in clearer English, please. Use more words. The same selection area must be used for all tracks, but you can SHIFT-click on the Track Control Panels of each track (above the Mute / Solo...

Re: Silence added after .OGG export

Make sure you are really using OGG. If you are exporting OGG using FFmpeg, use the built-in OGG exporter instead. Zoom in and make sure there is not a small clip at zero before the real audio starts. Also upgrade to the current 2.0.5 from http://audacityteam.org/download/windows unless you have a re...

Re: clic avant enregistrement

I assume by "battery" that you mean a drum track? "Battery" in English means a removable power device. Click Track should do what you want if you generate a click track that has the BPM of the drum track. Then press F5 on your computer keyboard and drag the drum track rightwards ...

Re: Using audacity in command line ?

No, unless you compile Audacity, compile mod-script-pipe and use Scripting: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/scripting.html . You could try compand in SoX: http://sox.sourceforge.net/Docs/Features . If you are not insistent on using the command-line, you could use the Chains feature in Audacity:...

Re: Basic Record Settings Ubuntu

I'm using Audacity v2.0. No you aren't because no version with that number exists. You should give all three numbers from Help > About Audacity. I did finally find a page of instructions to set-up recording from analog audio-out but after checking all settings it still doesn't work in Ubu 12.04. Th...

Re: Recover Deleted Material?

One of the ways that Audacity Projects can be set up is to not make "personal copies" of outside songs and sounds, but reference them or point to them when they're needed. This can be very, very fast and is beneficial on a large show, but the down side is Audacity needing to know exactly ...
