Re: Find Music Used

What Audacity file do you mean that is corrupt? An AUP file? In what way is it corrupt - can you see the blue waves? Perhaps we can fix that problem. Audacity keeps no records of MP3 files imported, unless the project you imported the file into is still open (was never closed). If so, look in View >...

Re: Problem with Error while opening sound device

Hi i down loaded high realtec audio divice from realtec! That is a very bad idea unless as a last resort for some problem you can't solve otherwise. Realtek only offer generic sound drivers that are not properly matched to your sound card - it is possible that might give you stereo mix recording if...

Re: Equalizer presets gone?

Re: Reopening a project

Make sure you have 2.1.2 from http://www.audacityteam.org/download/mac - 2.1.2m isn't our software. If you deleted the track using the [X] button, the project is still open. Use Edit > Undo to restore the track. You can also COMMAND + W repeatedly to close all the Audacity windows, to be sure none a...

Re: Issues Recording "What You Hear/Loop/Stereo Mix Windows

Thanks for quick reply. The issue still remains. I should have been more clearer. The Recording Devices allow "What You Hear/Loop/Stereo Mix." They are checked and enabled on the bottom right of the Windows Taskbar under the speaker icon. I have tried 2 other audio recording software and ...

If so, then apply the same suggestions stated in this topic. Have you tried all those yet? Also plug the USB mic into an empty USB port, and try a different USB port or a different USB cable.

Re: Audacity works in a VM, but not natively??? Help.

The answers are the same as a long time ago, so I merged the topics so we can see what was said before in one place. If you mean audio format codecs for encoding, as in K-Lite, they are unlikely to be responsible. Are you talking about disabling specific audio devices? Did you update your sound devi...
